Important Instructions for Filling in the Admission Form

Candidates are advised to read carefully the following instructions before they fill in the admission form:-

1. The candidate seeking admission to Postgraduate Courses shall ensure that he/she fulfills the Eligibility conditions as specified.

2. Please read instructions and other details before filling in the Application Form.

3. Fill in the Application Form online only. Submission of Hard copy is mandatory.

4. The name should be filled in BLOCK LETTERS and should be the same as given in the certificate of the last examination passed.

5. Scan relevant documents, photographs, and signatures and UPLOAD them. Uploading all of these is MANDATORY.

6. The applicant automatically comes to know about the fee details once He clicks the 'submit' button after filling in the form online. he/she also comes to know about the 'Serial Number' of his/her application. Please note down this Serial Number as it is required for further correspondence and queries, especially to know about the Application Status.

7. While filling in the form, write REGISTRATION NUMBERS of earlier degrees properly, particularly the registration number of graduation.

8.. The candidate must attach original certificates of Provisional, Migration, Character Certificate, Gap Affidavit (if applicable) to the hard copy before its submission. The specimen of 'Gap Affidavit' is given.

9.. Three recent passport size photograph, to be affixed to the hard copy of the Admission cum Examination Form.

10. The candidate must attach all the documents as per the Checklist given below.

11.. Admission form incomplete in any respect shall be rejected. Seeking admission on the basis of false identity, misrepresentation by submitting false certificates/ documents or suppression of any material fact is unlawful and will result in cancellation of admission.

12. In view of rampant reports of fake certificates and fake Universities, the University reserves the right of screening applications of applicants who have obtained their qualifying degrees from Universities other than  University of Jammu and evaluating their competence before considering them for admission in a manner as decided by University/Directorate from time to time.

Important Note :-
i) After Submitting the form, if this message comes-"Form not submitted Sucessfully" It means required information has not been filled properly This problem also comes due to slow internet speed or outdated version of Internet browser. Please fill in the form once again untill you get a Registration number and form is submitted successfully.

II. One copy of the Admission and Examination form alongwith documents as per the Checklist to be submitted by post at SO (PG), Room No 9, Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu, Jammu
