Army Public School, Sunjuwan came into existence on 01 April 2013 when the erstwhile Army Middle School was recognized by AWES as Army Public School, Sunjuwan vide their letter No. B/4575703/04/WC-33/ AWES dt 08 Jan 2013.The erstwhile Army Middle School started in May 1997 with upto class VIII and affiliated with J&K Board of School Education. The School is affiliated with CBSE New Delhi upto class VIII till Mar 2018.
Army Public School, Sunjuwan is managed by the School Administration and Management Committee (SAMC) constituted as per Article 31 of AWES rules under the Chairmanship of Cdr, 36 Inf Bde. Besides this, GOC, 26 Inf Div is the Patron.
